Rebuild Field Technicians travel and cover a multi-state area to perform diagnostic evaluations and analyze customer complaints in order to resolve any equipment performance issues.
Rebuild Field Technicians communicate with customers regarding equipment performance issues, time required to repair, etc. Field Technicians also set up tests, observe and listen to mechanical devices in operation to identify current or potential equipment performance issues.
Rebuild Field Technicians dismantle devices to gain access to and inspect parts & electrical systems, lubricate, adjust, repair, rebuild, replace and/or clean defective parts.
Rebuild Field Technicians order parts as well as complete and submit reports to the Rebuild Sales Manager whenever necessary.

Minimum one (1) year of experience in the troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of heavy construction equipment; engineering drawing/schematic reading and interpretation skills; and strong mechanical and/or electrical background required
Welding, hydraulic and/or pneumatic experience preferred. Experience in the asphalt industry, field of heavy roadbuilding and/or construction machinery industry a plus.
Will train in Chattanooga with expenses being paid during training. Must reside in or be willing to relocate to a region of the US convenient to service coverage area at his/her expense after training if necessary.
Extensive travel, valid driver's license, dependability, flexibility to work additional hours, drug screen, physical and background/MVR check required. Sufficient personal financial resources to make credit-based travel arrangements, etc. between monthly company reimbursement cycles are also required.
